The Parlure is returning to Brighton Fringe in 2009 with an even more fantastic programme of events: captivating cabaret, marvellous music, dynamic dancing, hilarious comedy and fantastic family shows.
We have moved from our previous site at St Peter’s church to take the Old Steine site (formerly occupied by the Udderbelly), so we’re right in the centre of town and at the heart of the action.
Come and enjoy our opening party on Thursday 30th April. We have a FREE ‘tease and taste’ event from 6-8pm, where buskers and walkabouts will entertain you in the garden, and there will be a short showcase inside the Spiegel where you can check out some of the acts on offer over the month.
Then from 9pm until late we lay on the party proper, with the swinging ska sounds of the Voodoo Trombone Quartet and Freshly Squeezed Djs, while walkabouts , magicians and dancers astound and amaze you.
This year we are putting on free yes FREE lunchtime concerts on selected weekdays. Simply come down to The Parlure and get your ticket free with any purchase from the bar or café.
There’s a wide range of music on offer: innovative bicycle percussion, gypsy grooves, blues rock, folk, soul and orchestral, and concerts run from 12.45 – 1.30pm. Click here for more details
